The discussion focused on the need for tea-producing countries to join efforts in demanding sustainable prices for farmers. Sri Lankan investors have increased their market stake in the Kenya tea subsector after Browns Investments PLC (A Sri Lankan company) acquired James Filays and Ekatera estates in Kericho and Bomet Counties.
