Tea Marathon is to be held in the Lush green tea estates of Kericho on the 2nd November 2024. The marathon serves as an opportunity to educate participants about the diversity and traditions of tea and foster connections with Kenya business industries that relate to tea.
The Heritage week will celebrate and promote the cultural, economic and historical significance of tea in Kenya. Tea Heritage week will be marked in Nyeri County from the 3rd November to 9th November 2024.
Kenya Tea summit will be held from the 14th to 16th November 2024. The two-day summit is structured to include a series of engaging and informative activities which are Tea Symposium/Conference and Trade Exhibition .
- Tea Industry Conference/ Symposium
The proposed format is a two-day Conference, to be officially opened by H.E. Deputy President – H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH. The Conference will reflect on the growth and milestones of the Kenya Tea Industry over the past century. The tea conference will also delve into the current topical issues such as climate change, market dynamics, sustainability, Innovations and technological advancements shaping the future of tea. - Trade Exhibition- The exhibition will showcase the rich historical heritage and milestones in the Kenyan tea industry. Diverse tea products from different regions of Kenya and other tea producing countries, interactive booths from leading tea companies, packers, suppliers, tea machinery companies, innovators and auxiliary services such as banks, insurance, shipping lines and warehouse operators.
